From NAIA terminal 3, take yellow taxi to Coastal Mall (Uniwide Coastal Mall) in ParaƱaque  to take bus that pass Tagaytay. It's a short ride but traffic sucks! Walkable around 30mins but really hot and polluted. Yellow taxi cost P170 peso, higher than white taxi but saves you from hassle by drivers charging fixed rate.
Coastal Mall

From Coastal Mall, you can take any bus that pass Tagaytay (via Tagaytay), fare is around P80. Tell the ticket inspector that you will get off at Olivarez Terminal. It takes 2 hours even though it's only 55km away due to traffic and bus stops quite often to pick up passengers. Vendors will occasionally board to sell food, you should try boiled sweet corn, roasted cashew, dried mango.

From Olivarez Terminal, you can take jeepney to go around Tagaytay, check the front signage for destination. You can go to People's Park, Picnic Groove, Sky Ranch and other destination to admire the view like the above photo. Be careful of tricycle drivers offering tour around tagaytay as they charge high rate. Jeepney fare starts at P8 for 1 - 4km, for example, to go Sky ranch from Olivarez terminal cost P8.

So if you want to ride horse, cost P450 + P500 tour guide to hold the horse basically otherwise just pay entrance fee P50, buy mask P30 for dust, rent hat P30 or bring your own then hike up to the crater, takes about 40mins. Quite easy to find your way, but they will hassle you to take horse and guide!

The view at the top is worth it!

To go back to Manila from Talisay, take jeepney to Tanauan P23 and from there ask local where to get on bus to Manila. Bus from Batangas to Manila passes Tanauan, so you can take bus that goes Cubao, Taft Avenue or Buendia cost P96 and takes only 1 hour.
